I first met John and Nicole when they were planning their wedding nuptials in West Chester back in Y2K. With the birth of each of 3 beautiful boys I get the opportunity to see the family grow and capture it all for safekeeping on the walls of the house. This summer they chose a beach session just steps from the deck of their great house in Strathmere.

So how does a photographer get his own family portrait made?? You go to the trusted locals. My family and I just came back from an amazing tour of Italy. We spent a week in Tuscany and a week in Positano. While we were walking down the 650 steps to the beach in positano, it struck me that since we were in this little slice of heaven all together, we needed our portrait made. I looked up and saw the neighborhood studio staring me in the face. Aminta La Fotografia was the place. I stepped inside to be greated by the lovely Ornella. Orny as we came to know her is the studio manager. She speaks beautiful english, and soon I had reserved our session time for Thursday. In usual fashion, the wardrobe was of major concern with my family but we sorted out our choices. On session day we met Orny again along with Piero Incarnato, our very talented photographer who had us posing all over town. I must say it was a blast. Below is a photo snapped by our son AJ, of Piero, Orny and myself. For a look at the results from the session you will have to wait until Christmas. Caio

Ciao for now
Leia and Jake had a perfect evening last night. What a warm feeling you get to watch a bride walk down the Cathedral aisle, and remember meeting her and her family for the first time on the soccer field in 7th grade. Both were strikingly beautiful and probably two of the most genuine people I have ever met. I could talk about them forever, but I have to reload the cameras and get ready for another day in paradise! Did I mention Jake's dipping style is the best I have ever seen!

I have never laughed so much with an entire wedding party! Laura and Geoff were the hit of Phoenixville and The Phoenixville Foundry . As we walked the town, the Chrisian Louboutin pump that Laura chose made the day complete! Special thanks to Ilonka Floral Decorator and Robert Ryan Catering for making it all run smoothly.
