Aronimink chooses Campli to shoot Tiger

As most of you know by now, Tiger Woods visited Aronimink earlier today to help promote his upcoming tourney.  Part of Tiger's day was being introduced and photographed privately with the board of governors of the club. Campli photography was extremely honored to get the call from club president David Boucher to photograph Tiger and the group.  As a photographer you usually don't get excited about press conferences, because so many photographers are attending, but this one was different, it was a Campli only portrait. As we were well hidden away from the 200+ press people, Mr. Woods appeared from the back stairway with his usual bright smile and  sat down in the center chair. I then asked the board members to join him in a group portrait.  Below are just a few highlights that I could share with you for now, more later for sure.

Prom 2010

Oh what a night! Christy's (2nd child) Junior prom was last night and we had just a few (34) teenagers gather for the obligatory photo shoot at our house.  Lots of parents showed up to capture the memory and most of them joked about my camera being bigger then theirs.  We all had a great time dodging  the rain drops to be outside. The trolley arrived and was ready to shuttle the kids, and when we signaled to start it up, the battery was dead! Thanks to all of the dads for getting the jumper cables out and off to the prom they went.

Great Valley Career Day

Thank You Great Valley for having me speak to the sophmores interested in photography at your career day.  The kids had fun playing with my new Ipad, and even got to take the photos you see below of me trying my best to be informative about my work as a photographer.  The most interesting part of it all, was that the teachers at Great Valley were the reason I took an interest in my art, when I was there in 1978!

County Lines Feature includes Campli

It was a very flattering and just a bit nervous phone call to get.  Laura Brennan from  County Lines Magazine called to get my idea of the trends in photography for weddings. While most of you are well aware if you give me the chance I will give you lots of opinions on just about anythng.  My wife says I get that from my dad.  But when you are going to be quoted in a magazine you have to think a little longer before you speak.  Anyway, thanks Laura for writing a great article about weddings and for including our photographs.  By the way, you might recognize that  fun couple on the front, at least the bride, it's Megan and Joe. Megan has run the operation here at the studio since her days in high school!

Unvieling

Sometimes a room is just meant for a portrait. This is one of those rooms.  With the cool contemporary feel of the room, Liz decided to go with a canvas wrap. The wrap was the perfect way to accent the portait and blend with the decor.  Thanks Liz for the honor of photographing your family.
